My fiance lived at Fox Pointe for six months. He lived in the NEWER buildings that sit closest to the street. Those were pretty nice.
I have heard numerous people complain about the other buildings that have the older apartments though. TONS of complaints about those...
While he lived there the maintenance people would just stroll right in your apartment without warning or knocking first. One time I came out of the bathroom (thankfully clothed) to see a man standing in the kitchen!!!
Another time my fiance and I were in the middle of the "deed" when we heard the apartment door open...we thought it was his roommate but it turned out that it was another creepy maintenance man...and all he did was leave a note on the counter telling us that 'maintenance would be entering our apartment in a few days' I couldn't believe he came inside just to leave a note!! This past year we considered moving back there because it is one of the few apartments in the area that allows cats and dogs under 20lbs. We had a caged rabbit and assumed this wouldn't be a problem... and they said that our rabbit wouldn't be allowed....So basically they allow cats and dogs but our caged rabbit was a no no' I didn't get that. So I probably wouldn't move there again unless it was in the new building and if they understood that NO ONE would be entering our apartment without telling us.
So I definitely wouldn't live in the older apartments and I would definitely be having words with management about the creepo maintenance people. But otherwise the apartment was very nice and he had little problems while living there.
