I wouldn't do it. I will outline what I have experienced here. Pros: Price! Cheap; deposit was almost nothing, utilities mostly included too. Noise seems minimal, at least in my apartment. Cons: Grounds upkeep; there are leaves still on the ground from before I moved in. In the winter, snow removal is poor and ice builds on walkways and isn't removed; dangerous. The people in my building mostly keep to themselves I think, but generally speaking it seems like alot of partyers or low income families whose kids run around all over.

To emphasize my view of the area I will outline what occured on my first night here. I was going out to home depot to get some things for the apt. I was oblivious as I had so much on my mind. I got to my car to hear someone shouting "GET DOWN". I look up and notice about 8 armed police officers 10 feet from me with guns drawn. Police squad cars were everywhere. I've never seen anything like that in my life and hope to never see it again. Sufficient to say that I hurried back to my apartment. I'll readily admit I haven't seen anything similar since, but it deffinitely skewed my perspective on living here.
