Clean, good neighborhood

Good neighborhood, close to elementary school. Big parking lots, snow is plowed soon after snowfall. Lots of open space between and around buildings. Nice pool & tennis courts.
Buildings are all 2 story with patios and balconies. Some patios slope too much and are unusable. Management does nothing about this.
Heat & hot water are ELECTRIC - hallways are not heated or insulated so precious heat is lost thru the walls. Old A/C units are very inefficient. The power bill is about $100 for the peak months.
Some buildings have a narrow, twisting stairway to the upper floor. This makes it impossible to move a full sized couch that way. (Over the balcony rail works)
The most recent management seems to be distant and cold. I?ve heard them take complaints on the phone in the office, but they didn?t write anything down. A service request may be done next day or never.
When they took over, they ignored the discount rent that some people had (elderly or long time resident) and raised it up to the market value.(Almost doubling the rent in one case)
