PROS:
Very well landscaped area. Can be quiet if you get a view facing the courtyard. Quick walk to McDonalds, Eagle, Taco Bell, and Burger King.
Quick Access to 90.
CONS:
The hallways and laundry rooms in some units are dimly lit. The washing machines are really old and it takes 2 cycles ($2) just to get one load dry.
If you choose to live on the second floor it is almost impossible without damaging your large furnite to get it up through the narrow hall and turn at the top of the stairs. There is no electronic entry system. They have Apt. Doorbells in the foyer.
The pool hours are terrible (morning - 8:00pm) and when it rains it seems to take the custodians forever to reopen it, because they say they need to put more chemicals in it. It could be a really hot day, but the pool is not open, because it rained.
There's AC units, but I have a 2 bedroom and the AC unit is only in the living room. To acutally get the bedroom cool so I can sleep the unit needs to be on for a whole day with the bedroom door open.
When I 1st moved in they said that we had to wait a little bit longer, because they were going to give us new carpet. My roommate and I agreed that it was a good deal. However when we loaded up all our stuff and pulled the truck in in the morning to unload it the carpet was really dirty and had stains all around. The old carpet was never replaced.
The problems reported on the initial walk through were never fixed. We have had a work order submitted for about a month now to get our AC unit cleaned and no one has come and done that.
If you look at this place make sure to carefully walk through the work out area. They make the equipment look like it works, but the eliptical runner was broken for over 6 months!!! I even went in to report this and they said that there was a call put in and somebody was going to come out and fix it. I gave them my phone number and asked them to call me when the work will be completed and I never received a call.
They do have carports, but for the protection that they give it's not worth the $350 plus it costs per 1yr lease. Plus the geniuses that they are put the carports further away from the apartment entrance than the uncovered lot. Now how does that work in the winter when it's 20 degrees below zero' Not too good.
Basically they don't seem too concerned with customer service there. They have tennis courts, but no nets are on them. They say they have new ones, but they are not up yet and they keep saying they'll put them up, but I haven't seen it yet.
