I went into the leasing office today and was greeted by a fast talking woman who informed me right off the bat that I "had to make and appointment" she seemed very irritated that I was in there without an appointment. Then she proceeded to look at the schedule and said well I do have an opening our 12PM didn't show. She tells me to wait in the conference room across the hall. I started to walk across but decided to peak into the club house, she then came out of the office and and said very rudely "it's that room there go wait in there". After waiting for more than mintues she came in and immediatly asked my price range. When I told her she rudely said "Well you have to make a minimum of $2800 for that price range, your credit score needs to be above 550, and there can be no bankruptcies on your credit history." Since she did not seem interested in showing me any apartments I said thank you and left the office. I have NEVER been treated so rudely in all my life. I did visit four other complexes that day and had very good experiences WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. If this is how they treat you before you even sign the lease what do you have to look forward to after you sign''

Grounds - Since I didn't get the opportunity to look inside these places, I will tell you that the grounds were in said shape. Outside entrances had rotting wood, two cars in the first parking lot had smashed or missing windows. Beer bottles littered the parking lot. Shady characters live there. The inside was supposed to be remodeled and the club house was pristine (you can see where the put thier money). Other than that I felt this place was a hell hole.

I don't understand how you can write a review like this with just visiting the place once. You can't give maintenance, security, etc. a score when you've only been in the club house. I have friends who have lived here for almost two years that feel very secure and have been more than satisfied with the maintenence. While it is important to have a friendly face in the club house and I can understand your frustration with the way you were treated, I do not believe it is fair to write a review like this when you didn't even live here.

First impressions are key. 1. - If a management company is treating potential tenants this way when it is supposed to be marketing the complex and bringing in revenue, I don't even want to know how tenants are treated once they've signed the dotted line. 2. - If a complex doesn't look or feel safe, why should a reviewer report otherwise. I'm thankful that he (and the numerous other reviewers who said similar things on this site) were honest enough to say what they thought. It sure saved me the trouble of going out there. Although it sure would be fun to show up without an appointmet...

I'm currently living at this complex, and i am living in a newer building, which im sure having a pleasant experience in. My neighbors are all wonderful, I don't feel afraid when I come home late at night and maintenice has really stepped up and always getting things fixed if i need that. I suggest that the old buildings do suck really bad, but living in the upgraded versions are just wonderful.
