Our 13 months lease is up the end of the month and I am so happy to get out of here! The rent is a little overpriced and like other reviews said, the plowing/shoveling in the winter is terrible! Seems like this place is the last stop to plow on someones route.
Our apartment has flooded twice (yes, twice!) since we lived here, only a month apart from each other. The first time was due to my stupid neighbor who left her sink on with clothes plugging the drain for hours...so I got a couple rooms full with the water!
Hunter's Ridge handled the repairs and the maintenance guys were awesome...but Tracy and the management didn't even offer to compensate us or give us new carpet. We were out of our apartment for a week and even worse, my infant son's bedroom got flooded the worst. After my fiance went to talk to Tracy, she offered us only $100 for our troubles! It was awful! And the room spelled moldy!
Then 1 month later, my apartment floods again! The contractors that Hunters Ridge hired to put in new wahers/dryers upstairs incorrectly saudered a pipe...and we ended up with a ton of water in our apartment again, holes in the ceiling, and it ruined the kitchen floor. Luckily, the contractors were the ones to handle the repairs this time. At least they offered to paint my son's room whatever color we wanted, replaced my son's carpet (which Hunter's refused to do), and replaced the kitchen floor...along with the other carpet cleaning and repairing the drywall. No one with the management seemed to care at all, and we never even got a phone call about the repairs (like the ones I received the times maintenance fixed my screen door for Christ's sake!)
DO NOT RENT A 1ST STORY UNIT! I hear everything my neighbor's do upstairs (and they have a 8 and 10 year old!) and it drives me crazy! If you are a new mother...you will be praying every time the kids jump around upstairs they don't wake your napping baby. :(
Overall...this place sucks and I DO NOT Recommend it to anyone.
