I've lived here for a couple years and I love it. As I read all the other reviews some are valid points and some just sound very bitter and totally rediculus. This is a large property with 10 or 11 buildings, anywhere you go there are going to be some problems. I have have had nothing but good experiences with maintenance and the office staff. In fact, since the the old management has been gone the new management I've noticed are taking care of a lot of things like replacing the lights in the hallways, painting etc. I've also noticed in the time I've been here that a lot of "deadbeat" people have left and it looks like my building and others are totally full with a lot of friendly people. Which leads me to believe that they are doing something right.
Yes, I did hear about an ant problem in my friends apartment or building and her story is she likes this place as well despite the ants.
She said that the pest control guy comes weekly to follow up and that the ants came from someone who probably went on vaction and brought them back in their bags because this type of ant is not from around here. I've read comments that "management is not doing anything and dont allow them (the resident) to do anything about it." My friend told me she was told not to spray because it makes it worse. I guess they gel or use traps. Anyway, the point is it seems to me things are being taken care of. As far as noise when I'm in my apartment I cant here a thing, its very quiet. The elevators are sqeeky but these buildings are not new. In all I think management and maintenance is very helpful and fair and the apartments are wonderfull and so clean inside! My advise is, take these comments with a grain of salt and form your own opinion. In my experience with people is if they don't get their way or whatever they embellish a little or a lot on the problems, I feel people don't say enough of the good things.
