Yes, some of my friends' apartments are 'nicer.' They're work out areas are kept up better. And they have more amentities. But, they also pay about $200/month more than I do. Only five minutes away from Woodfield, and really in Schaumburg more than Elk Grove, this apartment features clean and well taken care of buildings. Unfortunately they cut out dogs again, so if I wasn't grandfathered in, I wouldn't be able to come back to Hamilton Courts again. I would say a negative is that they're office is open only until 5 pm most weekenights, and the reliance on a card for laundry, and the only machine for refills being in the office, this can cause a problem. Especially over holiday weekends. But I really do like the location, and it is my second time actually occupying an apartment at Hamilton.

I agree with you there, I have been living here (building 1013) for 4 years now and it really is a great place to live for the cost. The laundry card refilling is an issue it would be nice if they were open later or put the machine somewhere accessible 24/7 (though that opens it up to theft)
