MY HOME FOR FOUR YEARS.

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2008
I lived in these apartments for four years with my wife. Overall our experience was pleasant at Hamilton Court, with few exceptions. We never had problems with the neighborhood or with the overall up-keep of the buildings. That being said; in four years we did not once recieve new carpet, which was coming up at the seams when we left, and there was noticable mold in the bathroom due to cement cielings and poor ventilation. The head of maintenance, at least, was aware of the mold problem because his wife required a drop-ceiling before she would move in.
Our rent went up every year (650,675,685,& 720 if we didn't leave when we did) and some benifits dwindled over the years. For example, the new management company no longer accepts packages at the leasing office as a courtesy, turning down all package deliveries. After four years of with good standing, my wife and I asked to terminate our lease 30 days early, with 30 days notice, and were refused, without paying a fee of two months rent.
