good building for evanston. the only problems i can think of is the price and low water pressure on the 7th floor i'm in (bad for taking a shower; i always flush the toilet twice, sometimes three times). but those two points are really about the only negatives i can think of. if your apartment faces the lake, like mine, it is extremely quite, very sunny (good for winter, have to keep the window open) a little worse for summer,cause too much heat. another negative the air conditioning in my unit is old, it's so noisy I prefer not to turn it on most of the time, since the temperature rises again in 15 minutes you turn it off. pluses: good new management in 2006 - very responsive and know you by name, safe area, good transportation. Overall a pretty good deal for Evanston. I would say it the price is right for you - move in!
