Very Noisy, Too Many Students

If you are not a student, keeping student hours, stay away from the Reserve. It is filled with rude, loud college students who mostly have no regard for those living around them. From pet noise to phone noise to late night student noises (you know what I'm talking about), this place is disappointing. Senior Management tries to be responsive, but the majority of the students that I've dealt with are nasty brats who couldn't give a toss about your concerns. The people who answer the phones in the office are dumb as rocks and are unreliable, so you always have to escalate to Senior Management. There has been a marked turnover of staff who always leave to find 'something closer to home'. I suspect that 'closer to home' is code for 'fed up with spoiled Northwestern undergrads'.
For the price paid, the Reserve is not worth it for out of school professionals.

Interesting, seeing as I was one of the undergrads who lived there and struggled with the noise factor myself as I was trying to study quietyly in my room many nights. In fact, a lot of the noise problems I experienced were due to my next door neighbor, a Kellogg student; I could hear his phone ring and every word he said late into the night. An out of school older male across the hall's tv could be heard in our apartment late at night. I could hear the couple below us slamming (!!!) their doors early in the morning as they got ready for work. Sounds like you have more of a problem with Northwestern students than you do with the apartment complex itself. I rarely encountered other undergrad students in my building, or other ones, so I'm not really sure what this reviewer is complaining about.(for those who are not familiar with the evanston area, there tends to be a lot of hostility and resentment in general towards NU students, whether there is a valid reason for it or not. If you have a problem with college students, don't live in a town that is mostly comprised of a large university and its students!!! NU's student population makes up a fair number of apartment and housing dwellers in southern evanston.)
