Somtimes one should learn how to read before they write. A bit of research could have clarified this resident's judgement of a dog housed within the building. First of all, the dog is not a pet; he is a service/working dog, protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

The dog wears a vest stating such. Special identification is not required for such an animal. The owner cannot be asked about their disability nor can they or their dog be refused admittance, isolated, segregated or any other way treated differently than others.

Before the animal was admitted into the high-rise HUD and management---------------) provided a form to be filled out by the dog's veterinarian testifying for the dog's suitability for living in housing for the elderly and disabled.

Doctor's signatures were also provided testifying to the resident's need of such a service/working dog.

1940 Sherman "Sherman Apartments" in Evanston, Illinois is not the same as "Sherman Hill" nor is it a high rise building. Please be more careful when posting feedback to insure you are leaving it for the right building.
