Wow- I've lived here three years and never had the kind of problems other people are talking about. I work in the way north suburbs and there is no way I am driving all the way into Chicago, so Evanston is the next best thing. Love my view (north but I can still see the lake), happy with the people. Maintenance guys are great. I don't know all the door people but the two I see the most of are professional and have helped me out a LOT.
I had problems with some noisy neighbors and the people in the office seemed like they were trying hard to solve it. (the neighbors moved out after all.)
The one thing I would change though is more cardio equipment in the workout room. Sometimes it gets crowded in the mornings.
Other than that, I am pretty happy here. Downtown Evanston is like a cool Chicago neighborhood.

Agree that this is a great apartment building! Surprised that he wants more exercise equipment. We've looked at lots of expensive condos and none had as much equipment as the Park Evanston has, and the exercise room is on the 24th floor, with a fantastic view of the lake.
