I called and spoke with Tony, the owner of the building. He and his wife were very nice when I went to look at the apartment and when I signed my lease (even when I was crying because I was in a rough transition in life in getting a divorce).
I was Extremely happy with the apartment itself, it was a 2 bedroom, with a large living room and eat-in kitchen! Lots of windows (including new blinds), very bright and laundry in the building. The only thing it's missing is a dishwasher and a garbage disposal. : )
When I had a problem with a rocky ceiling fan (which also came in the apartment - one in the kitchen and one in each bedroom). He came right out and fixed it for me.
The other people in the building were very friendly, but kept to themselves.
I am planning on re-newing my lease when it comes up.
