The Berkshires of Glen Ellyn seem like a great place to live, however I was completely wrong. Everyone in the entire office is rude and has no customer service skills. When you have a problem, they could care less. The maintanence is the worst AND the slowest I have ever seen. They have less than 5 people working on over 7 buildings. Come on! You tell me how they can take care of everything. The walls are so thin that I can here the noisy water pipes everytime the neighbor turns on his water. This apartment is a waste of my money and I will never rent here again!!!

I have never had a problem with the maintenance staff. They are always nice to me, and I've even voiced a few concerns to their faces before. Never have I been treated badly. They say the key to getting great customer service is not being a jerk yourself... Anyway, I'll give you that the walls are a bit thin, but what do you expect? These buildings were built by a less than stellar company (Rambletree, NOT Berkshires). They're not sound-proofed, concrete bunkers.
