Don't let the new rennovations fool you!

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
When i was apartment searching, i had little time and really just needed to find a place to live for 6 months in the area. I was recommended to this place through a apartment locating agency. At first look, everything seemed nice, the staff was cool (but everyone is like that when you wave money in their face). So, after moving i thought i got myself a good deal, the appliances were all new, everything was new. Within the first week my toilet backed up for the ENTIRE WEEKEND and maintence never came till monday, i had to drive to walmart down the street to use the restroom every time. And all management had to say was "oh, we didnt know, we'll have some one come out." Following this incident, i finally got cable installed with comcast, who had to run some wires outside my window which were to be later buried. Some maintence guy came screaming and yelling one day about them at the cable guy who said he had nothign to do with it. After that the maintence guy CUT MY CABLE WIRES. Thankfully after telling comcast what happened they had sent 2 trucks out and 2 police cars. It was a huge incident and the ----- from the office was screaming at everyone.
So after all of this was resolved, within the next couple months..it happened. THE BUGS BUGS BUGS. Roaches EVERYWHERE I would wake up in the middle of the night for a glass of water and i'd see literally dozens and dozens of roaches in my "brand new" apartment. And i am a clean person, i dont leave dishes out for very long, but yet i still have a huge roach problem. They would get into my dog dogs food and i'd have to throw it all out. They'd crawl out of my sink, out of the walls, out of the cabinets, out of my dishwasher, it was like a nightmare.
also, the paint they used in the bathroom walls was not waterproofed, so it constantly looked like my walls were bleeding..
So finally when i moved out, then came the bills. They said they did this BLACK LIGHT inspection of my carpet and reported that there were too many stains...they charged me 500 DOLLARS for new carpet in a 600 sq ft apt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention the other fees that they added, in total i have to pay them 600 after moving out. After trying to negotiate with the office and telling them that the price for the carpet was absolutly absurd she said "well thats just too bad" and the moment i had called her about the bill her attitude went from nice to extremely rude and condecending.
Never ever ever live her unless everyone in that place is fired.
