I personally have been living at Century Point for 5 years. It was great when I moved in. Area was perfect since I have small children, residents were very nice and I didn't have too much of a problem with the staff.
Now, since the previous owners went bankrupt all of it has gone down the drain. All buildings (6 units) have individual landlords who do not like to deal with your maintenence issues or even clean the hallways and laundry room. I can't even call the office for help, all they tell me is that they can't do anything for me and to call my landlord.
When the owners found out that they were going under, they decided to fill up the apartments so that it looked full for the future buyers. They put up 6 months free and did any of the people that live there get any break' NO! And then they let anybody move in. I had to go through a very detailed check before I could move in and by the looks of the new neighbors and vehicles there is no way those people had to go through as much of a check as myself. I pay close to a thousand dollars a month and it is definatly not worth it at all.
I have had many issues with maintenance and I wouldn't if they actually fixed the problems right the first or second or third time.
If anyone is thinking about living here, think again. It might look nice but there are many many secrets and problems going on in this complex. I can't even say that I live at Century Point Apartments any more because my rent check goes to some realtor.
