it's an apartment... not a house. Expect to hear you neighbors and wait for a repair.

It's really frustrating to read these negative reviews. I have lived here for 2 years, and no major problems. Yeah, you hear your neighbors from time to time. Sure, you have to wait a day or two or even a week if it's not urgent for repairs. But guess what... you live in an apartment. NOT A HOUSE! True, the girl in the office is a dumbass and doesn't know how to do much, especially drive. Welcome to Chicago. As fow towing, that sucks. But you knew about it when you moved in. I know a woman who has lived here for 10 years, and she said it has always been the same. I was informed of the policies before I signed. If you have such a problem, get your act together and buy a house!

I think this person is not too smart !! I had mice and the walls are paper thin . There is no reason for such a poorly run place and its not anyones fault for not having a House , last I checked , most are losing them . Stop smoking dope and dont refer to Glendale Heights as Chicago , your confused !!

agree with jwstops... you live in Glendale Heights you moron, not Chicago. I'm happy you are satisfied spending your hard-earned money paying rent on something that you essentially are admitting isn't that great of a place (yet you rate it 4.0??????). Your admonishment for people to "buy a house" if they aren't satisified is a lazy excuse for renters not to expect a quality residence for the amount of money they have to pay every month. If you took time to do some comparative shopping in your area, you would find better apartment complexes for the same rent, and not be resigned to accept your current living condition.

Unfortunately, we are in negative world. I wrote the review. No, I am not a moron. That was highly un called for. No, I do not smoke dope. No, I am not confused about what town I live in. Glendale Heights is a suburb of Chicago. Has been since it became a township over a hundred years ago. Therefore, I say welcome to Chicago. Indeed I did do comparitive apartment shopping in my area. I am happy with the location, my apartment, and my "living conditions". My apartment and my hallways are fully remodeled. And as for my "admonishment" for people to buy a house... really... do you know what that word means? You call me a moron, but you are using BIG words to sound smart, yet you are very foolish. Admonish: To counsel or to remind. Yes, I stand by it. If you are not satisfied with this (or any) apartment, buy your own house. Anyplace you go, you will have some sort of issues. And finally, YES IT IS YOUR OWN FAULT if you don't have a house. It is easier to buy a house than to rent an apartment. All you have to do is be a responsible person, pay your bills on time to keep your credit up, and save a little cash. Then you can do as you wish with your very own place. I enjoy my home, and I do not for a second feel as though I am accepting something I am not satisfied with.

I think i want to live in your building! I know since we moved in almost 2 years ago nothing has been fixed. Hell, our ceiling fell in once, and they couldnt find the problem so just patched it up and said "lets hope we dont get rain like that again!" Not to mention all the windows in my apartment are falling apart. they have been promising us new ones since we moved in. all the plastic around the windows and the handles have broke off. Now all the tiles in the bathroom have lifted. my microwave is probally one of the first ones ever made and has tape holding the handle on! (we moved in with it like that) All my landlord keeps saying in defence is at least we got a new dishwasher when we moved in. gee i am so thrilled! I cant wait to find a new apartment and get out of here!

Dude, Glendale Heights is no Suburb of Chicago and technically has never been: No suburb of chicago is outside the Cook County Lines; Has to be within Cook County to be ChicagoLand ( Suburb of Chicago )!!! Hey Dize do you have your own home or are you an owner! I dont know but it's really is confusing to read what you wrote very contradicting and i actually was planning on leasing but it seems like you are very negative about the place; beside i am a building inspector and no it isnt easier to buy a home; not anymore plus maintaining it. please get some college education and come back with sense...thank god this site just changed my mind!
