I have lived at fordham for 5 years.They are overpriced pieces of ----,with leaking walls,noisey neighbors,broken door locks and a very arrogent manager named jeff.The maintinence staff has always been kind and helpful no matter who the guys were.the office staff is also good,especially Val.The windows are very cheap,and the utilty bills are astronomical.They will do nothing for their current residents,and only seem interested in sprucing up an apt.for a potential new resident.The only good thing I can say is they are probably better than all the other pieces of ---- apartment complexes in the Carol Stream ghetto.

I lived at Fordham Glen for 4 years, in a 3 bedroom. My first year renewal they charged me $100.00 extra on my rent. They said to me that was the going rate. I also found a SNAKE in my kitchen. I called the office and complained about it. It took them days before they came to the apartment. They did nothing but looked around. Be aware that when you move out they charge you for things, and send you to the collections agency 6 months later. The Manager doesn't send a letter of the itemized bill that your being charged for. They automatically send you to collection agency. They send three notices out 1 week after the other, after the third one it effects your credit. I'm going threw this now. I had to get an attorney to help me out of this. This place is not worth the money. The people there are druggies, and the young people party all of the time on there balconies. Any one with kids or just want a quiet and save place to live this is not the place for you then. The front is never locked and the maintenance doesn't fix it. I rent a town house that cheaper and alot more quiet. I would never recommend this place to noone.

okay people if you have such a problem with the apartment complex and how S*hitty it is or what not, then why the hell do you insist on living there for 4 or 5 years plus?? If its SO crappy then why dont you just leave then! Noone is stopping you after your lease is up..so then leave! Thanks :)
