I am in the united states marine corps, and after being called back to active duty to go to Iraq for the third time I went to the office and told them I had to break my lease. They were apathetic at first and were very nice about it, until they told me I had to fax them my orders! This will not and can not happen for many reasons. One I dont have them they were sent directly to my chain of command and Two it is priveldged information which they are not allowed acess to. I then received a bill for $355 which the only thing explained was that there was pet stains on the carpet. I have asked repetedly for a statement explaining what and why I owed what and I would gladly pay. Still waiting on that, and I ship out to Iraq soon. The apartment was ok, overpriced for the small space. The air never worked and broke constanly and then in the winter the furnace broke too. windows sucked and would not stay open unless you had something proping them up. the cable tv lets just say TV max is the worst thing a apartment complex could have. I returned their cable box and now mysteriously they cant find it and are charging me $ 300 for it. complete crap. the only thing I liked about this place was the staff, they were always nice. the accomadations were less than accomadating. not the worst place to live but I would find somewhere else

Thats great that you are going to serve our country, but did you ever stop to think about "policies" How do they know that you are being shipped away! People are scammers!!You wouldnt believe the number of people that will come up with any lie to get what they want or need, espically if it means breaking a lease. I'm sure all they needed was actual documentation that you are leaving.
