PROS: Stonegate Apartments overall has been a positive experience. Rent is cheaper than most other NW suburbs I researched. Service and maintenance crews work wonders (landscape always beautiful) and majority of the management staff is willing to help with needs. Pool, clubhouse, exercise facilities are great!
NEGATIVES: It lacks a few of the desired amenities that other apartments offer which therefore makes the rent cheaper than most other places (i.e. no garage option, no garbage disposal, laundry service a pain). Streets need repaving. Parking lots not lit very well. Not all buildings are enclosed which causes drafts to occasionally come through. Laundry facilities are a drag -- they may not necessarily be in your building and the dryers take a really long time. Breaking lease costs two months rent.
