Unfair and Upsetting

I have to say that when I first moved in 03/13/04 that I thought Stonegate was a great place to live. Now that my lease is coming to an end I am VERY happy to leave. I am actually moving out and willing to take on double the rent just to get the hell out.
First, we had a horrible ant problem which they sis take care of but it took a good 2 to 3 months before they came and sprayed. Second, there are kids (college) all over the place which I didn't mind at first, the loudness, but what killed me was trash ALL over the place. I had to watch when I took my dog out because she had picked up USED condoms on the ground that people had just thrown out thier windows. Third and the final straw was when I went to talk to them about keeping a dog there. My lease was up in 2 months and they wanted me to move to a completly different building, pay $250.00 for the pet deposit and then pay an extra $130.00 a month for the same apartment but a different building.
I forgot one more thing that happened to me at Stonegate. I have had people come to my door asking for food and money. I felt threatened so I called the police and now I still feel like I have to be careful because there are not locks on the main doors.
Overall, Stonegate is a ok for a first apartment but I have learned by looking around you can get much better and bigger for a cheaper price!
