I've lived here for several years because it's very close to my job. The first few years were OK, but it's going downhill. UTI is very close so there are many students living here (at least in the buildings near me). It's like living in a fraternity house....parties and a LOT of noise at all hours of the day & night, people shouting from their balconies to friends in other buildings, drag racing and "wrestling" matches in the parking lots. There are often people working on cars in the parking lots, which gives the complex a rather dumpy look. There are also many people with dogs, which wouldn't be a problem if they picked up after the animals. I'm reluctant to open my windows on some warm days because of the smell of dog poop. Expect 1 or 2 "city inspections" every month. The apartments are very small (my one-bedroom is about 550 sq ft, including the balcony). On the plus side, the rent isn't too bad, and heat is included. Also, considering how small the apartment is, the closet space is adequate.

I live in an apartment complex that houses UTI students as well (in Carol Stream). I was on this website looking for another place to live, and I found this review to be VERY HELPFUL. Everything that was stated here also happens at my complex - the UTI students have turned our complex into a college campus.

The new management company is also quite lacking. I have had to provide proof of rent payment 3 out of the last 5 months. Of course, they cashed/deposited all of my checks immediately. Who knows where they had applied my money - good thing I can get my cancelled checks online. More than one of my neighbors also had similar problems. I could understand it happening once, but 3 - this is just silly.
