I CAN`T WAIT TO SEE THE NEW AND IMPROVED PROPERTY THEY ARE CONVERTING THE APTS. TO CONDO`S ALL THE TRASH AND UTI IDIOT`S WILL BE GONE AND NO MORE NOISE ! IT WILL BE A GREAT NEW PLACE FOR THOES FIRST TIME BUYERS .I CAN`T WAIT FOR MY CLOSING TO GO THROUGH ! YOU CAN`T BEAT THE PRICE .AND FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE THAT HAVE NEGITIVE STUFF TO SAY JUST THINK POSITIVE AND YOU WILL SEE THE CHANGE FOR THE BETTER .HEY FOR A SINGLE GUY I THINK THIS IS A GOOD START FOR ME ! LOL. I just spoke to the sales office which mentioned that there will be NO improvements to the property or the unit. Also the buyers are most likely going to rent it and not live in the unit. No changes in sight !

If you're banking on the condo conversion to clean up the place, then don't bother. I moved out just as it was going condo. The person who bought my apartment was willing to rerent to me. He bought several units just to rerent. Like a previous responder said, the UTI students are there to stay.

HA! My place in Palatine went condo and I'm looking to leave. Cheap condos aren't usually bought by owner/occupiers, but investors, my complex has been getting really ghetto, people sitting on other's cars in the parking lots, crowding the stairs, blasting ghetto music and leaving booze bottles and cans all over. Why? The condo owners are making thier units Section 8...now it's heavily ghetto and I am looking for a new place to live when my lease expires!
