Ok this is gonna be a bit long but very truthfull. First of all where to start the place looks good when you pull in but once you get into a reall apartment its nasty there is atleast 25 coats of ------ white paint on the walls it starts to crack and chip and fall off and there is nothing you can do about it. The outlets and sockets look like a 12yrold installed them they are crooked with gaps next to them and do you know whats good about the gaps its a nice home for your bugs and cochroaches there are tons of bugs all around its nasty how you kill and kill and kill and look all over to find where they are coming from but not to be seen. I am a neat freak and cant get rid of them it is disgusting. What else the counters and shelves and all that is crooked again built by an 12 yr old the place is tiny ------ walls you can hear everything that your neighbors are doing and worst of all they can hear you conversations so if you are talking to your family or friends about something you might want to wisper or your noisy weird neighbor might listen in too. I definately recommend you look somewhere else it is a --------

I've been living at Stonegate for 4 years now and never had a problem with bugs of any kind and never seen any Roaches. My outlets in my 1 bedroom apartment look normal and not crooked. As far as the walls being thin and hearing everything i never heard my neighbors ever and the only thing that I hear is water running from the person above me and when they walk around there apartment. The only bad thing about Stonegate is that the apartments are way overpriced and tiny. I'm afraid that you live in the older section of Stonegate where the apartments look a bit older, mine on the other hand is Right by Glen Ellyn Road.

Oh pls do not move here with your baby and kids !!! I lived on this apartment and it made me sick all the time. If you already put your deposit, forget about it. It's better to lose hundreds of bucks than to lose money by taking your sick children to hospital. I am warning you. Just look at how many people here posted negative stuff on this apartment.
If you insist on living here, take a look at the actual unit (not the model) that you will live in.

In answer to tlc2424, I wouldn't recommend moving here to anyone, especially those with kids. This place is nasty and tiny. My one bedroom was about 500 square feet. 550 if you count the balcony.

I totally agree with PrincessMel96, except I do live in the back apartments. The sockets are crooked and the kitchen was halfa$$ed put together. The walls have been painted a million times at least. You do get new carpet though, LOL.

We have lived in this apartment for a year, yes the units are small (probably because it is a condominium style and not an apartment), but we have not encountered any bugs, ants, whatsoever. And we did not hear any conversations of neighbors, only when they are walking around the unit and the water running. We have 2 sons and they never got sick in the whole year that we stayed there. The only problem was with the laundry room...they only had 3 washers and 3 dryers...and 1 washer and dryer was not in working condition...and it took like a month or so to be fixed.

THIS PLACE IS FULL OF -------- AND ROACHES...CARS AND DOGS AND ROACHES EVERYWHERE. AT FIRST GLANCE, IT LOOKS OKAY, BUT ONCE YOU LIVE THERE, YOU'LL SEE@!1!!
