I lived here from October 2007-2008, and Im so glad that I have moved out of that place. It wasnt too bad when we first moved there, but then after awhile everything just seem to get worse and worse, and the people in the office just didnt care, and didnt care what we had to say.
After living there for a few weeks we started noticing that there were ants coming out from under the heating unit...and these aunts where everywhere and had all dfferent sizes. At this time we had a young infant, and I refused to have her on the floor at all unless there was a blanket down, and even after then I didnt like her to be down there for long.
There are NO security doors, and with crazy people these days, I think that everyone would feel a lot more comfortable if they were there. Plus in the winter with no security door, everytime I open my front door I would get snow in my house, and this huge draft.
The shower wasnt a shower at all. I think I could have washed my hair faster if I stood out under the sun, or in the pool. It litterally trickled, and it would either be too hot or too cold. If was never just the right temp. The toliet, sink, and whatever else leaked. The neighboors played their Mexicain woohaa soo loud that even with my door closed and I can hear, not to mention I could hear them and their music through the walls....24/7. There was no respect from your nightboors, and you can hear the people who lived there above us.
Most to mention the ass kids. These kids would walk up to my window and look into my apartment, and call me Freddie Kruegar. What the ----, why are you bothering me in MY home. They have no respect for anyone, and then when I confronted them, they said that thier parents said that they can go and do whatever they want. Seriously come on now.
To maintence people always watched me everyday. I had to keep the blinds and drapes closed, the office people where the rudest people to you on the phone or in person. If there was something wrong with your aparment, they would tell you that they would send someone out and never did. I have numerous cockroaches in the summer, and I called them, and they told me that there was nothing that they can do, and I have to just deal with them...what the hell'
Oh yeah...they claim they have breed restrictions for dogs...but obviously they dont follow them because there is every kind of dog there.
They promised me that at move-in our apartment had a patio..it didnt, I was halfway underground and hated it. My daughter couldnt even see outside because the windows were high up, and shes so small.
Honestly if you want to live here then go ahead. Its not worth the $999 a month. We found an apartment thats twice the size with 2 bedrooms that is only $859 a month. We couldnt be happier, and we will never again live there, no tell any of our friends to live there. If you like to live in rude places with a lot of bugs though, then I would recommend it.

I have almost come the point where i may get a lawyer. I bought a condo and it was rehabbed. The interior isn't too bad but i had the flying ant problem in my bedroom. My boyfriend sprayed that foaming insulation down there so hopefully this year i wont get any. You are right on all accounts regarding the bratty ass kids, music etc. Let's not forget the drug dealers and all the drugs floating around. There was a girl assaulted right out in the courtyard behind my patio at 7pm. NICE! Unfortunately I can't move for a while with the housing market the way it is but I will be damned if I will ever buy anywhere again without doing some major research first!!
