This place is not ghetto

I moved in here on June 1, 2009. I have heard the rumors from people I know personally that have moved from here and now live here. There is also a rumor that they have let some section 8 residents in. I agree that Section 8 residents usually don't bring anything good with them and personally I prefer not to live near them, but the complex will not likely become all section 8. If it did, I would be the first to move out. This place is well maintained and certainly does not look ghetto. I have seen no police activity. I walk my dog all over this complex. This place is so quiet that I wonder if people are alive sometimes around here. When you are a renter you may have the occasional undesirable neighbor. You cannot avoid that unless you want to live in the woods. My neighbor has lived her for 6 years (she is a single female). She says that this place is not being overrun with "ghetto", as rumored. She also says she has never had any safety issues here. As far as management and repairs, they are pretty good here. I have had to call to remind on some things but nothing that would make me hate them. Now, there have been some vandalism issues with cars around my building during this month, but that can happen in any place. If you are really worried about that, you need to pay for a garage. People who say parking is an issue, are just lazy because they can't walk a few more feet. Unless you have lived in the city, you have no idea what parking problems are. Parking is great here and a big relief after living in the city. People who call this place "ghetto" may want to ask themselves what they consider the definition of "ghetto" to be.
