I was searching for my new home in Tennessee when I came across this site. I would like to comment on and recommend the place I called home for 6 years. This was not my first choice when I arrived the Summer of 2001....I was looking for a place with a pool and fitness room....BUT I'm glad I settled on location and price. I would have never used the pool or fitness room.....who was I kidding. I did get a membership at a gym 2 minutes away......just incase. The gym membership was much cheaper than paying high rent at an apartment that included a pool (open only 2 months) and fitness(3 exercise equipments for 200 people). I loved where I lived! Grand Oaks was like a neighborhood NOT an apartment complex. Everyone was very friendly, especially the staff. They have recently changed over the office and one maintenance personnel ...but they never skipped a beat. The management company must be commended on their choice of staff here at Grand Oaks. Smiling, helpful and professional. For the past 6 six years any concerns I had were address immediately. My apartment overlooked the pond and at night I could hear the water fountain going.......very peaceful. Everything was kept clean; the hallways, laundry rooms, the yard......beautiful. My neighbors became my friends! I had a five-minute drive to everything! My daughter went to Woodland Schools! Thanks for giving my family a 5-Star place to live within our budget.
