I have been living here for 12 years and once the new management renovated this place a couple of years ago, it's the difference between night and day, it's the bomb!
Yes, the rent is a little high, but you get what you pay for, high-rise building, a safe, great, working class neighborhood, great public transportation (2 bus routes outside the door) and best of all, a neighborhood of Italian, Polish, and Greek-American restaurants and food stores. The best of both worlds.
And, I-90, I-294, and O'Hare Airport are 5-15 minutes away.
The Management is always nice to me and I feel if I ever needed them for any emergency they'd be here for me.
The only problem I have is the older generation that sits in the lobby of the building from 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and stare at you when you come into the building, so I take the back door so I don't have to make any eye contact with them because they surely will talk about you, like I care, GET A LIFE!

Whoever wrote this must be deaf, dumb, and blind. This place is the pits. Everything that is not nailed down has been stolen. Tv in fitness room was stolen. Seats in theatre room were stolen. The glass in the front doors have been KICKED IN three times this year; obviously from disgruntled tenants. Management is non-responsive. Consistent power blackouts with no wellbeing checks and no explanations. This building is bursting with rude, ignorant, inconsiderate tenants, dogs, and lots of children in these small apartments. Management is unprofessional, uncaring, inattentive, rude, and gouge you at every turn. You will pay for water, gas, heat, garbage, and sewer. 1500 dollar penalty if you need to break your lease.

Staff and Maintainence: Nice and helpful!!! Prices: Slightly high Cleanliness: Needs work!!! Dog Pee throughout the building, lobby, garage, outside by the entry ways. Noise: Great! Have never heard barking or my neighbors, suprisingly. Safety: Ok. Dog owners not handling their pets accordingly. Some of the dogs are HUGE!!! Should be a pet restriction. Then you have the " Golden Girls" who patrol the front lobby ALL DAY! Is this a senior Amenities: Theater, ok. Community room, nice. Internet Cafe, a joke. Pool, wouldn't get in there if you paid me. All in all... Not bad....if you do not mind huge dogs, dog pee, and the "old people" in the lobby playing the piano, then this may work for you. Hope this helps out!
