I called Americana apartments to get rental information. It's in Highland Park so I am expecting "northshore" customer service. I ended up getting completely offensive treatment by one of the management reps.

I was told "none of your F-ing business" when I asked for the manager's name. This was after the gentleman on the phone was rude to me and would not answer certain questions about the apartments. Even when I called back to speak to the manager- the same gentleman would play games and was like "i don't know what you are talking about" with a sarcastic tone. Obviously they have a bunch of lowlifes managing the property. They seemed very jealous of the people that could afford to live on the Northshore.

If an apartment complex management tells you to basically "F... off"- how well do you think they are going to treat you once you rent'!!! I can't imagine living somewhere where the management team is so verbally offensive. Americana apartments does not belong on the northsore.

Americana apartments has terribly offensive management that would rather verbally offend than lease an apartment to you.

I agree with you. I was poorly treated when I stopped at Americana Apts. to get some information. The woman behind the counter had a chip on her shoulder the size of an elephant. She was rude and clearly didn't want to be doing what she was doing.

The woman who made this statement was angry because Americana would not rent to her because she has dogs. She repeately called screaming that she was going to sue for discrination. We did not use foul language but did finaly hang up on her after being harrased with repeated threating phone calls. Americana Apartments Management

Are you sure this was the same person? Because I'm pretty amazed you have the same staff/can remember all the way back from 2005, or to January. Probably two/three separate instances of unprofessional, rude customer service.
