Nice Apartment

I live at 700 Park Ave. in Highland Park.
This is a nice older apartment building. The rent is good for the area. It is in a great location right next to a park and behind a school. It is in close walking distance to the downtown shopping district and a grocery store Walgreens and other shops are just around the corner. It is quick and easy to get to the highway. Location fantastic.
Management is very quick and responsive to maintenance requests.
Only bad thing about this place was the heat. It has a very old boiler and the windows are single paned. This past winter was awful in Chicago and my apartment was always cold. There is a wall heater in the apartment but it was far from adequate. If you are okay with always wearing a sweater or sweat shirt then you will be fine. It is not too bad you get used to it.
