When I visted Hinsdale Lake Terrance before I moved it seemed nice and quiet and the apartments were a nice size. But once I moved in it was noisy and tons of litter on the grass. The kids are loud and ghetto around here. They stand in the middle of the street and don?t move when cars come. The police are always around here for one reason or another. Someone pulls the fire alarm at least once a week in the complex and the fire department blocks the streets of like it?s a fire and it hasn?t been one yet.



The hallways have a strange smell and sometimes it?s a marijuana smell. The heavy fire doors just make the hallways hot and there is no circulation so the smells are horrid. There are kids running through the hallway yelling at all times of the night. During the summer the kids ring the doorbells of every apartment and run. The balconies and patios are cluttered with toys,bikes,and patio furniture. And to top it all off there is no type of security.



When you place a request for maintenance it takes over a week for them to come and fix the problem and it still exists when they leave. They make it look like it was something that you did or didn?t do to cause the problem. The heating system is located in the bedroom closet and when the heat comes on it sounds like a train is running through the bedroom. You can?t hear the T.V. which is across the room or sleep for that matter. They claim they have central air condition which blows cold air on the pipes to cool the apartment which doesn?t work. That isn?t central air conditioning!!



The staff in the management/leasing office changes every week. You can place a maintenance order with someone and when you follow up and ask why it wasn?t done the person you gave the order to is no longer there.



I hate it so bad that I attempted to get out of my lease but they wanted me to pay $3,000 to break the contact. My lease is up May 31st and once I pay my rent for May I am leaving on May 1st. I wouldn?t recommend living here to my worst enemy. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
