I lived at Hinsdale and just relocated in March of 06. Then move in was fine. Everyone we met was courteous and neighborly. The townhomes were amazing for the price range. But soon we found out why the price was so reasonable. The basement was not repainted upon move in and when I made a request for maintenace to come out this was not taken care of - ever. Then I got lock inside of my own bedroom. The lock was faulty and would not open from the inside or out. Luckily someone was in the home with me when this took place and could kick the door in. The straw that broke the camels back however came after I decided to break the lease (note: $1500 fee to do this)and paid my lease in full. I call after waiting 1 month for my deposit to arrive and was told that I owed for damages. I disputed this but requested an estimate of the charges. Nothing came. Called again, requested estimate, nothing came. Finally I called an attorney in June 06 to recover my deposit. These people dream up damages and do not abide by the State laws. Read you lease and dont listen to what the Rep in the Leasing office is telling you. It will almost always be different in the contract. Use caution when dealing with this Group.
