After being moved out for 9 months, I have to say these things to prospective renters. First of all: you get what you pay for!! The upkeep is horrid. Both the end of the summer when I moved in and the summer before I moved out, the A/C did not work properly. The fan was broken and did not blow the cold air upstairs. I walked into their offices dozens of times, and the best they ever did was "recharge" the A/C, even though that wasn't the problem. They didn't care that the upstairs was 30 hotter halfway up the stairs.

They will rip you off when you move out. They charge ridiculous move-out costs, even though the problems were documented on move-in. They actually held our deposit and charged us on top of that. We paid the bill after complaining, and months later they sent a collection agency on me. I personally had to prove they were paid because their bookkeeping and administration skills were horrible. Even after proving payment, they didn't cancel the collection agency. They said I was going to get a bad credit rating. HEAR THIS: THEY DON'T REPORT YOU to the credit agency, good or bad. I've checked. There is no record of me paying on time every month without fail. There is only a record I lived there. Heck, I even paid a week early most months.

As far as the unit, there were layers of paint on everything. When we moved in, there was construction equipment in the cabinets in the kitchen. One drawer was full of doornobs. There was a wolf spider problem on the main floor and the basement. The carpets were stained when we moved in (which we got charged for when we moved out). Kitchen tiles were cracked. Walls looked like a lot of patchwork has taken place. The insulation is horrible! Don't be fooled by "new windows" bit... The few feet near the DOORS were 10 degrees warmer/colder because there was no insulation. They put a low-quality weathering strip on to rememedy after asking them to for months. They also didn't care when we complained that our neighbor got a puppy that barked almost 24/7 b/c it was a puppy. Walls were so thin you could here everything.

I know the townhomes are spacious, but it's not worth it. These are subsidized units with gangbangers hanging around day and night. Run away!
