I moved here about three years ago and i knew about the section 8.I didnt think it would get worse week by week.The noise in the halls and coming from other apartments is unbelievably annoying.The office staff does nothing about this although they claim to.
the parking is a nightmare.lots are small(by my building)and have very little guest parking.They change the rules on guest parking it seems daily.3 people i know have been towed because the rules werent explained right.
if something breaks and they feel its your fault you get charged outragious prices for crap fixtures.and of course its always your fault because they wont take word for anything.was charged $50 for my smoke detector battery being in backwards,which wasnt my doing.im sure that they hit a bunch of others up for that as well.nice little scam.
the grounds are discusting.nobody picks up after their dogs.kids leave trash everywhere.
drugs are common here and the bags can be seen anywhere throughout the property.the halls reek of weed and the school kids have no problem coming up to you and asking if you want anything.
the police are here on a daily basis for god knows what.i know of at least 3 apartments that have been broken into.then they charge you if you want the locks changed.nor will they check the camera's to see if they can find anything to help.or so im told.
kids are everywhere making noise,cussing like sailors,leaving trash all over,walking around in the streets at all hours and no parents to be found.I myself have almost hit a few after they darted out of nowhere.
the "secure"building doors are proped open or broken all the time so there is no real saftey.
the maint. staff doesnt clean up after themselves when they do decide to fix anything.my bath tub backed up a few times and they just left the sludge for me to clean.
dealing with the office staff is like talking to a wall.NOTHING gets done.complaints are overlooked and they are short on the phone when dealing with them.
needless to say i will NOT be resigning my lease at the end of the year.i dont feel safe nor am i getting what i pay for as explained in my lease.i would not recomend living here or even looking here to any of my friends or even strangers. i dont even have company over because of the place.its humiliating.
