Okay, so when I first looked at the apartments here I was in love. Well, Then I moved in. Everything was completely different than the model we saw. The hallways stink like urine and cigarettes and everytime I get into the elevator I think I am going to get stuck in it. When I moved in there was a whole in my apartment wall that you could look right outside through. Think it was fixed'....Yeah it was, a month and a half later! The closet doors have fallen on my head, the tub was covered in scum when I moved in and all the doors were off the hinges. The fools in the office are dumber than door nails and will do anything not to help the residents that are paying to reside in the complex. People hang out in the hallways at all hours of the night, play loud music, and leave trash all over the parkinglot and hallways, including the elevator. I am so ashamed of myself for falling for this place! I have been here for 9 months and only three more to go till I can get the hell out. I can't wait to get away from this ghetto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me, stay far away from this place. I am not saying this out of anger I just don't want honest people getting run over the same way I did. Learn from my mistake!

Don't know where this person lives, but it's not Colonial Village. I've been here almost three decades and have never encountered any of the problems they list except noisy neighbors, which the office or police takes care of immediately. There is even a maintenance person who patrols the grounds daily, picking up litter and trash laying around. The office staff are very helpful and friendly. The move-in problems they encountered would have been fixed within a day of notifying the office. This is not a ghetto. It is a great place to call home.

I disagree. I think that this person has valid points. While I dont think its the ghetto I dont think its anywhere worth recommending to anyone.

Carefull applying to this place, the office staff are unprofessional and rude. Don't know about this elusive "corporate office" I keep hearing about, but they are impossible to deal with. Rent from this place at your own risk!
