We have rented a home from Protown for the past year. Within this year we have never, ever paid our rent late. We have always paid on time and often a few days in advance! We have had several septic problems such as raw sewage floating in our basement for days. My husband had to clean eveything up time and time again. Protown has never completely fixed this flooding problem. When I called the office, Jodie said that my family should use the washroom at a nearby service station until they could come out to fix the problem. They recently sent an excavating company out to connect our septic tank to the city. This work was performed over a month ago and Protown has not come to our house to complete that work as of yet. We have an open sewer line running through our basement wall with a plastic bag covering it! WOW! Our yard is torn up and the sidewalks have been cracked by the bull dozers causing a dangerous hazard to anyone who walks in the muddy, broken concreted area. We have children who ride the bus daily and we must walk them through this dangerous area to avoid injury. We thought if we were good tenants such that we are and paid our rent on time that we would not encounter any of these problems that we so often heard about Protown. Well it doesn't pay to be on time with your rent because they still treat you like garbage. I wouldn't recommend Protown to anyone. They are very bad landlords and they do not care about their tenants nor their well-being.
