The Landings of Lake Zurich has beautiful apartments yet there are many negative qualities one would not see by just visiting.

The apartments are very overpriced. The walls are very thin. You can hear the washing machines above and below you running. There is a high school right over the train tracks right behind the complex. We can hear every high school event and loud freight trains passing daily (especially 11:00pm every night.)

In the winter it takes a while for the complex to get the plows out and do not expect all of the sidewalks to shoveled ever.
I have met several wonderful people in the community, but there is a severe lack of entertainment in this town. Lake Zurich is a family oriented community. If you do not have children, I could not see any reason to want to live here.
I have lived here from July 2002 until now and have yet to meet a single neighbor. I know I am as responsible for that just as everyone else is here. You will see the same faces going to work and coming home from work but that is the extent of the communication amongst neighbors that I have seen.

I have wanted to post a negative review for this complex for a while. I finally realized I could not let others go in unknowingly as I did. Now after putting in a maintenance request 3 times and receiving promises 3 times by two different employees and nothing
being fixed I feel a strong need to warn others.

Yes, I am proud to invite guests over. The apartments are beautiful and if the above problems do not bother you please feel free to live here, but I am out.
