I have live here for almost a year and I can't wait until my lease is up. When I first moved in I overpaid to get ahead on my rent. Well the rental office can't count because they kept claiming I owed them money. According to my records they owed me money so I paid it because they threatned to send me to collections. Low and behold they must have got audited because 6 months later they sent me a rental credit I have overpaid upon move in. I've been here for eight months and just started getting rental statements. The place is so ghetto they want everyone to pay in a money order no matter how good your credit is. The grounds look nice but the hallways smell bad and all of the relocated project kids can't let the paint dry before profanity is smeared on the walls. The teenagers have sex and do drugs in the stairwells. The security gaurd just quit because the drug dealers set her car on fire. The elevators and hallways smell of urine. Lets talk DOGS, yes they accept them under 30lbs. and there is a $20 month fee and $250 deposit, that is if you are stupid or honest enough like I was to tell them you have a pet. No one else does so you have rotwilers, pitbulls and german shepards running around free of charge. Complained to management no real action taken. Drug packets are always on the grounds and in the hallways. I only see the cleaning crew once a month. They used to have a couple who did a pretty good job but I guess they got tired of cleaning up unexcusable filth. Now we have two guys who look like they just got out of prison. They're cleaning is mediocre. Maintenance can't fix anthing. Took them months to hook up a brand new dishwasher right. Couldn't find the hot water valve. I had a faulty smoke detector they could'nt fix so they gave me a new one. It sits on top of my TV because they can't figure out how to install it. They have a fire once month and the lansing police spend a lot of time out here. I was denied apartment insurance because this property has had to many fires. They won't put up nets in the tennis courts so kids just ride their bikes in it. Two basketball hoops, no nets. The pool is nice. Overall way overpriced and very ghetto.
