This is a nice neighborhood to live in if you don't like being around traffic and noise. It is a short distance to Gurnee Mills, Great America, and the tollway. The aparments are clean and are a pretty good size. However, there is no swimming pool, exercise room, or any of that fun stuff. The neighbors aren't very friendly but, they aren't a nuisance either. Most of the people living here are in their late 20's to early 30's. The nice thing about Mallard Ridge is that they allow both cats and dogs(of any size), which is great for animal lovers. The maintenance staff are pretty good at repairing things in a timely manner, although we have had quite a few problems with the washers and dryers. Overall, I feel that these apts. are very nice to live in.
