We?ve been here over a year now. Stupidly renewed our lease, not realizing that the new management was going to turn the place into a ghetto. (Please note that the better reviews were earlier, before the new management was brought in.) Noise levels have increased considerably and the sense of community has dropped. We used to be proud to say we lived here, now it's embarrassing to admit it. Tenants are not being held accountable for the behaviors of their children or pets. Children are allowed to run wild without supervision, damaging plants and throwing objects at the ducks and in the pond. As much as we love the ducks here, we fear for their safety now and almost wish they would be removed for their own good. Younger children can't play safely on the playground due to older, wilder kids taking over. Used to be well maintained grounds, now, dogs are allowed and are defecating/urinating all over, leaving poop & brown patches in the grass. (There is no designated area for dog owners to take their pets.) It's going to be really gross when it snows. Also, beware, there's a pit bull in the larger apartment building on the west side. Cigarette butts everywhere. Garbage dumpsters are allowed to overflow into the parking lots. Kids taking out the trash don't hit the dumpsters and so it's all over the place. (It also appears that new management has cut down on the number of weekly trash pickups.) New manager not skilled in screening or managing. Seems that anyone that can pool enough money to get in - gets in! Watch your car, too. I?ve also seen two cars broken into in the last few months - and the culprits are new tenants! Been seeing alot more of the Lisle PD lately.



Plumbing and appliances are aging and becoming real problems. Maintenance people are pleasant but basically unskilled. Most of the good tenants are moving out due to the downward slide of things. When our lease is up we?re out of here! We wouldn?t stay under these conditions now if they LOWERED our rent!
