We've lived in the Arboretum Villages for almost two years. The first year was really nice. The management was very responsive and professional. The property was well-maintained and clean. The clientele was respectable and quiet. Foolishly, we signed our second year's lease right after the new management arrived. The new management has resulted in a significant decrease in quality. Garbage, including cups and broken beer bottles, are frequently littered and left in the parking lots. During one week, I counted the Lisle police in the parking lot THREE TIMES. Children are often allowed to run and play in the roads now that the new management removed the basketball court area (without any warning- they just took it out). The new management takes maintenance requests, but does not resolve them. They post rude signs to get residents to pick up after their pets. In addition, they are doing a terrible job of plowing snow and keeping the sidewalks, steps, and parking lot safe. The maintenance staff does not take any initiative in shoveling or removing snow. I am terribly disappointed in the management and I will NOT renew my lease for another year!
