We are ending the second year of our lease, and will not be renewing it. Our apartment itself is nice, so long as everything is working. When something does go wrong, you have to contact the office numerous times, and if it does get fixed, consider yourself lucky. The people in the office are definitely not problem solvers and handle things very poorly. We pre-paid our rent several times, and twice, they have "lost our rent" which resulted in us receiving an eviction notice each time. Absurd! The noise from the highway is bad, but even worse is the sound of barking dogs. Since they began allowing dogs, the hallways of our building smell horrible. There is garbage all over the parking lots and beer bottles on the grass. There were notices posted recently saying that they found hypodermic needles in the parking lot, also. Not where I want to live! Parking is adequate as far as spaces go, but it is very poorly lit and creepy at night. Speaking of the parking lot, the snow removal in the winter needs improvement. Rent is high, and you don't get your money's worth. We are definitely looking forward to moving out.
