Declining Piece of Junk

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
Lived their for about 1 1/2 years. Was really nice when we moved in and for the 1st year. Great amount of space. Was clean. They had complex barbeques and parties at the pool. Respectable people lived there.
It's been going down hill....
Bratty pubescent children stalk the parking lots. Hyperdermic needles were found in a dumpster. An apartment building burnt to a crisp.
Stains have begun surfacing from the bottom of the carpet,--I know they aren't from me, b/c they are in weird places-- obviously they just clean the carpets before you move in. I don't think they've been replaced in forever. Windows are old and ------. I have a hard time opening and closing some of them. Ventilation is horrid. You have to have the air on 24/7 as a result. The management leaves rude condensending notes all over the complex--most likely intended for the vagrants that have begun moving in. But, since they post for all to see- they remind me more of an immature note an RA would leave for college freshman. Rent is rather overpriced...they even are increasing it..now want you to pay for heat. Yeah right with the Ratty old furnace and draftyness of those apartments--you have to keep it on 24/7. Not to mention, some new people moved in next door and I found a roach. Management is totally rude! If it wasn't so overpriced I'd say it was decent. But due to the degeneration and age of the buildings and rudeness of management---I'd stay away. I'm moving out a.s.a.p. The dryers totally suck too. You've got to pay like 3 bucks just to get a small load dry and it takes forever.
