Okay, so I live in an Apartment in Naperville. Lease is up and I have a 1br 1ba and pay $964 a month. I am thinking about getting a 2br in Lisle or Wooodridge b/c it is about what Im paying now. Problem is I have lived in the "Naperville Bubble" all my life and I do not know which appartments offer Section8. Is Arboretum section8' Is there a lot of crime' and are there alot of black people. I know It sounds bad but my safety comes first. Plus, management arent allowed to disclose that info so I figured I should ask the residents themselves.

It can be unsafe if it was whites, --------, -------, arabs, monkeys, gorillas, or aliens. What does it matter if a lot of black people are around? This mess is really getting out of hand. If you feel unsafe to be around a certain race then it's probably because your to ignorant to realize that a killer or THUG has no color and could be living next door to you right now.

Whatever, I just dont want to live around a bunch black people or section8 housing. No thanks! By the way, I drove by Arboretum Villages over the weekend. GROSS. Good thing I am not poor and have to live in that sep pool. I dont know how you people do it.

wow-you definetly are from naperville with your attitude. you actually did us a favor by not moving here. go ahead and pay up the ying yang for a one bedroom, and waste your money. any intellegent person would know that all you have to do is call the police department for statistics on crime, and that paying almost $1000 for a one bedroom is robbery. I went to school in naperville, and you can't use the excuse of not getting a good education for your ignorance. Thanks for not moving here-you did us all a favor.

The only thing "GROSS" here, Napergrl2, is your attitude. It's that kind of narrow-minded thinking that doesn't allow this country to progress past the 1800s. For your information, I know, firsthand, many people that live here who are not "poor", as you say. I live here because Arboretum Villages gives you the most for your money in a safe, clean area. No matter how much money I may make, I have a little more sense than to live in a one-bedroom apartment that rents for $964.00 a month. It's funny that you rip on people for being "poor", yet you are so morally bankrupt yourself.

I'm sorry but you are a very ignorant person. I am a black female with a black boyfriend living at Arboretum Villages. I highly don't recommend this complex and black people living there is not the reason. The management team is prodominately white and they are incompetent. You're on section 8 housing and worried about the black people with money living in Lisle. You have got to be kidding me. If anyone should be worried, it's the black people paying taxes so your ignorant ass could afford to live in Lisle.

bunnielove, maybe if you were literate, you can read that I am NOT on section8 housing. I just wanted to know if Arboretum Villages had section8 because if you did - I certainly would not want to live there. Why might one ask? Because Section8 housing = black people.

This is my first time reading the reviews for the arboretum villages apts. I am very amazed at how some people are still thinking of certain races. Just to let you know "nonsection84me" / "napergrl2", you really should be ashamed of yourself for living in an apartment paying over $900 a month. Tell me this "rich naperville Girl"", Why not live in a house instead of an apt??? is it that you don't have the common basic knowledge to invest your "money" into a home or is it that "daddy" hasn't given you enough allowance to move your spoiled ass in a house. I am very offended and I am sure that other black people are offended by your comment in reference to black people and section8. Arboretum apts doesn't accept section 8 so the black people who does live here can afford it. If I wanted to live in Naperville I could. I choose not to live in Naperville because of non dressing, scabies having, lice carring, spolied ass, ignorant ass, prejudice ass people like you. Just because you see black people living in Lisle or Naperville doesn't mean that we are on section 8. Just because you see us on the street or in grocery stores doesn't mean we're about to rob somebody or use a link card. We work hard just like everybody else so we could live were ever the hell we want to. Oh yeah...for the record, The white person living next door to you is probably a child molester and the white person who live accross the street from you might be a serial killer. You really need to update your notes and stop snorten that stuff because that poisen you've been given got you all fu$k$d up.

I can't believe the things written here. I also am ashamed to say that people like nosection84me also make me extremely embarressed to be a white girl from naperville. Please to all of the people angered by those comments...you should also not judge all whotes from Naperville by saying we are all rich snobs. I barely make it on my own...am not rich...not snobby and certainly not racist. I am looking at this place later. now i feel there could be reverse discrimination b/c of the one ignorant white person that wrote that. please know it is also not fair to judge all of the whote race based on stupid people. All races have ignorance...we should never judge anyone by a Group. judge the individual. should i not consider this place now?

Napergrl2: You are the reason why I hate Naperville. I don't mean to wish ill on people. I hope one day you know what is to be "poor". I hope one day you know what it is to live pay check to pay check. I hope one day you know what it is to have to apply for section 8 so you can have a home for yourself/and or family. I hope one day you're in a position where you need some sort of assistance and a black person (or any other color..hell even white) is the one to determine if you receive that assistance (be it financial/medical/even something as trivial as roadside).
