I am so glad I got out of Green Trails. Buying a house was the smartest thing my husband and I could have done. Our own yard, quiet, personal space and safe, sounds good! After believing that Green Trails was a professional community last year when we moved in--as a result of my husbands job transfer (I was familiar with the place and had known it as a place where professionals lived) but were sad to find out after signing our lease that there was an unbelieveable amount of total section 8-like trash moving in, we even saw it happening on move out!!! Heres what Green trails has to offer to you: drunk college kids, people squashing 6 people to a two bedroom apartment, people smoking weed in our building, dumpsters set ablaze, idiots shooting fireworks next to a building with no working fire alarms, drunk slobs all over, Lisle cops called over often (almost every other night), people getting shot with bb guns in the parking lot, beer cans in the parking lot, old and noisy appliances, loud parties, parking sucks, more drugs, forget your deposit it is not coming back, cant sleep with windows open due to noise, rude staff, but nice maintenance when you could get a hold of them. Get out while you can or dont move to Green Trails unless you are section 8, trash, or a drunk and drugged college kid.
