I cannot wait to move out of this ghetto! I love the fact that the front office tells future residents that they only rent to professionals...not college aged kids! That is a directly from Jan's mouth! Bull!! I now have 4 kids piled into a 2 bedroom up at all hours of the night slamming doors and cat calling at me as I walk by! Oh, yeah, my apartment completely flooded during a rainstorm, they still have not cleaned my carpet...4 weeks later! The carpet now has to be replaced! Oh, if you don't like critters, your in trouble...the place is infested with bugs, spiders, and GROUND SQUIRRELS!!!! I can't wait to see what the try to pull when I break my lease in a month!

I've lived in Green Trails for a long time. My wife and I both think the complex is great. As far as renting to college students / professionals, I can say I know they do rent to college students. The quality of resident has gone a down a touch the last year or two but I have not had any real problems with other residents. As far as bugs, I do seem to get a lot of bugs...but that is probably because there are so many trees and green spaces in the complex as opposed to your standard parking lot and sidewalk landscaping for apartments. I don't find any reason to be bothered by the fact that we have squirrels, chipmunks, and bunnys.

Not True! About half the students who non-commuters live in your apt complex. I am a college student myself. When I went on a search for an apartment in the area, I stopped by your complex. The woman said that lots of college students rent here and she could even find me a roommate. Long story short... I viewed one apt and was disgusted by the stains in the carpet, the VERY dated kitchens and the rancid smells of ethic cooking and burnt grease. I am sorry that the college students have been disrupting. I have a hard time believing they are from my school. There are many young adults that live in your complex that are "bad seeds." I went to school in Naperville and a lot of the "bad seeds" live in your complex. By "bad seeds" I mean police records, drug charges...ect. Please do not automatically assume all the disturbers are from Benedictine.

Girl22_, I don't think I ever stated that the kids were from Benedictine...you made that assumption! I said they are of college age! And it seems we were told from "The Lady" what we wanted to hear...you a roommate and you people...me quiet and a more mature crowd. And I was shown a completely different apartment than the one I got! I looked at a third floor and when I showed up to get my keys they gave a first floor in a different building...a mix up! And by the way, tulsafan, I don't mind bunnies and squirrel, but chipmunks are very distructive and noisey! Try living on the first floor and listening to the chitter at 3:30 in the morning. Oh, and the bugs...try silverfish, spiders, sugar ants, centipeds, and earwigs! Neat, huh! Enjoy your extended stay in the ghetto...I'm out in 2 weeks...my standards must be just a little higher than yours!

It is very obvious that Greentrails apartments only wants your rent check every month. They are not concerned with the people that live in the community. I grew up in Naperville and there is a big difference when you cross the street and live in Lisle. The people in the leasing office seem to be uneducated regaardless of their degrees. I moved in Four years a go and now God has blessed me with purchasing power. I would not ever send a close friend to live in these apartments. I do not consider it a ghetto or do I see it as a white collar community. I see it as a constant under construction project that no one seems to be able to manage. No human being should ever have to pay rent when the management team does not fill their responsibility to their clients.
