I regretfully lived at Lakeside apartments back in 2001 at the time they accepted all breeds of dogs, when I signed my lease with them I told the lady that I had 1 Staffordshire terrier aka pit bull, and a rottweiler, she said that was fine I would just have to pay pet rent for 2 dogs which was 40 or 45.00 dollars a month (can?t remember). So I signed the lease with them a moved to a 2nd floor apt. I was paying my rent plus the extra for my TWO dogs every month early, and having NO problems, I like the lay out I liked everything about the place. Then the people that lived below me starting complaining that there was too much noise and that they could hear my dogs running around to much. They then complained about some loud music. At the time I actually hadn?t even gotten my stereo from my storage place yet......I received letters from management giving me a warning, I talked to them about it and they were okay with everything. Then new management came into play, some dumb ----- took over the managers position, her name started with an M, and she was a -----!!!!! My grandmother who was also on the lease with me (because I didn?t have enough credit) even said she couldn?t believe what a horrible rude person she was. When she came in she thought she would change breed restrictions and 2 of the breeds that were "banned" were Staffordshire terriers and rottweilers. She then told me that on my lease it only listed my rottweiler on it and not the other dog, I asked if it that were true then why was I paying pet rent for TWO dogs' She never could answer my question because she was so stupid she didn?t know her ------- from her mouth hole. She then told me I had to get rid of both of my dogs because there was a resident saying that I could not "control" my dogs....I?ve had those dogs for 4 years before then and I could easily control both dogs and still can control those dogs. She also said that the people below me were saying that there was too much running around and noise....HELLO YOU LIVE IN AN APT PEOPLE!!!! The maintenance people there are GREAT, the one guy who was there for a long time and might still be there told me that the people who lived below me have been moved 3 times throughout the community because they complain all the time about everyone, and that they live in a one bedroom apt and it?s the man, his wife, and THREE kids!!! Do you think they cared (management) no!! Basically it came down to this ----- telling me if I wanted to continue to live there I would have to get rid of my dogs. Oh okay done I?ll just go drop them off at the local pound because they are just dogs right. Yeah right!! Then she tells me oh I know how you feel I breed Staffordshire terriers, yea whatever save it. So I had to break my lease because there was no way in hell that I was just getting rid of my dogs that I?ve had for years. Oh yea and she even tells me that the person that drew up my lease her name was Joann and she was very kind and nice was fired (sorry - turns out that she quit, typical for them to lie about things like that) because she was messing things up!! Real nice to talk about your employees that way! When Joann was the only one in the office that had any sense! Then they tried to charge me for breaking my lease but I?m not paying because basically I was forced to move out, she was unwilling to work with me on everything, and then I moved to another aimco community at Country Lakes which was a GREAT place to live, and now I own a house.





Oh yea and on top of that I had gotten my window bashed in right in the friggen parking lot, and then when I was walking my dogs at night people always came up to me and would say vulgar unappropriate things to me, but my dogs kept them away!!





OH and now reading these others post the managers name is Mauri and it seems like EVERYONE HATES HER!!! GOOD!! My grandma hates NO ONE but when we went that one day to meet with her she had some hate for her!
