Horrendous

I currently live in Lakeside and I cannot wait until my lease runs out. First, it is 60 degrees in the apartment, even though the thermostat is set for 70. Calls to maintenance have not provided results. Second, they do not do an adequate job of snow removal or ice removal. They do not shovel in a timely manner or keep up with it when new snow has come and forget about salt. They apparently are rationing it for some reason. When snow melts or it rains there are huge puddles in the parking lot. I think that is why it has the name "Lakeside" not because it is next to the stagnant mosquito infested pond. THird, the walls are paper thin and they will do nothing to make tenants keep their noise down. They claim to have a "three strikes" policy against noisy people but that is a joke. Fourth, the office is not always open when it is supposed to be open. Fifth, the paint on the walls has been repainted so many times and is so thick that if you breath hard on it big chunks fall off. Sixth, the floors are uneven do to wear and linoleum in the bathrooms is falling apart. Seventh, they do not keep up with the common areas between the apartments inside the building. Lights are burned out, the doors do not shot properly and paint is peeling. Overall Lakeside is a joke of a complex and they rip you off. They have quite a scam going and the best thing to do is to STAY AWAY.
