I have been living at Fakeside apartments for about 6 months, and everything I have read is completely true. There management is terrible. I have had so many problems, ranging from maintenence issues to unacceptable behavior neighbor.

For starters, I the week before I moved in I received a phone call stating the apartment that I had put a $200 in escro to hold was given to someone else, and that I would have to wait a week until I moved in. The only problem was I would have been living in my moving van. In order to rememdy this problem they gave me someone else's apartment(not sure, but what else could they do). Although it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, it was close enough, or at least that is what I thought.

That was until I met my upstairs neighbors. Or should I say watched them be arrested. Not once, not twice, not three times, but four times!! Mostly it was just domestic disptutes, but then I saw in the newspaper that there was actually an address for dealing cocaine. Now I don't no about you, but I didn't really feel to safe.

Now, you might be asking yourself, why didn't he complain. Well, I did, but it took them all of 4 months to get these people out!! Zero Tolerance...Ha!! Finally when they did get them out I was forced to enjoy Julio and his band of hooligans roll over a dumpster and throw things such as couches, weight benches, and kitchen tables over the 3rd floor balcony!!

Not long after that came winter, and like clock work, my heat was malfunctioning. I was forced to set my heat @ 85 degrees in order to stay warm. I mean even my dogs were shivering one night, and I own a lab!! I called several times, but I have still yet to have it be fixed.

If I were to describe my stay so far at Lakeside, I would say a living hell!! Not only is the managment incompetant, but the apartments are barely liveable, the amenities are a joke, and no one that works for Lakeside or Aimco seems to ever try to improive upon this. I would not recommend this place as a place to live. There prices are very cheap, but you get what you pay for!!
